ProLogis to Develop 247,000 Square Feet for SKECHERS in Belgium

- Footwear and Apparel Company Expanding with ProLogis to Support the Continued Growth of its European Business -

AMSTERDAM, June 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), the world's largest owner, manager and developer of distribution facilities, announced today that it will develop 247,000 square feet (23,000 square meters) of space in Belgium for SKECHERS EDC, a subsidiary of the footwear and apparel manufacturer SKECHERS USA Inc.

SKECHERS' new facility will be built along the A40, a major east-west highway, in the city of Liege, Belgium, a regional distribution and logistics hub located approximately 30 minutes west of the German border and one hour from downtown Brussels. SKECHERS, which currently leases a 241,000-square-foot (22,400-square-meter) facility immediately adjacent to its new building, is expanding to support the continued growth of its northern European business operations.
