ProLogis Leases 162,000 Square Feet in Southern Germany
DUSSELDORF, Germany, June 23 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ProLogis (NYSE: PLD), a leading global provider of distribution facilities, announced today that it has signed a new lease for more than 162,000 square feet (15,000 square meters) of recently completed warehouse space near Munich, Germany, to a leading global provider of third-party logistics services, Simon Hegele.
Hegele's new facility is located at ProLogis Park Munich, a state-of-the-art distribution park situated along Germany's A92 highway between downtown Munich and the Munich International Airport. The company selected the park for its strategic proximity to its customers in northeast Munich and access to modern transit infrastructure.
In addition to ProLogis Park Munich, Hegele leases more than 52,000 square feet (4,800 square meters) from ProLogis at ProLogis Park Frankfurt in central Germany.

In addition to Simon Hegele, current customers at the park include Hellmann Worldwide Logistics, Dachser and DSV. Throughout Germany, ProLogis owns or manages approximately 14.8 million square feet (1.37 million square meters) across five markets.
